Has played and recorded with a variety of bands tackling anything from avant rock to electronica to Breton folk music to electric jazz to free improv. Depped with The Tiger Lillies on many occasions, but refused to join them for some reason. Was a founder member of electro-jazz improvisers Lob (1995 - 2002) and subsequent offshoot Moist (2003 - 2007). As a free improviser has worked with and occasionally against most of the players on the London improv circuit. Studio sessions for Alex Paterson (the Orb). Solo bass gigs at London Headphone Festival and De Sonis, Composed music for short films by Thomas Gray and ‘When There Was Grass’ by Juliette Buss (2008) which showed at several experimental film festivals in London and the South East. As well as '4th Page', currently working with improvising folk outfit Clang Sayne, live electroacoustic outfit Sonnamble and improv trio Elvers with Paul May and Ian R. Watson. Recent theatre work with singer Petra Jean Phillipson. Also plays with singer/songwriter Lucy Jane Davies.
Favourite musicians include Fred Frith, Charles Mingus, Keith Tippett and Kate Bush.
