UK based artist and musician (acoustic guitar and vocals) Charlie Beresford works both solo and with the group Fourth Page alongside his work as a producer. He is also a founding member of the Radnor Improvisers, a group of musicians based in the Welsh Marches. They performs as well as work in the community using improvisation to promote communication and bring people together. Recent projects in association with Footloose Community Arts have seen them go into schools, care homes, and hospitals as well as working with Camden Abu Dis Friendship Association (a project that brought young people from the UK and Palestine together in a series of workshops and performances).
His musical life has seen him work with artists spanning most genres such as Alexey Kruglov, Orla Wren, Patrick Dawes, Duke Garwood, M.N Hopwood, June Tabor, and the Ian McMillan Orchestra. Alongside this, he has created numerous scores for short films. Licensed music to MTV USA both East and West coast. He has also worked for the likes of Leo Records, Forwind, the BBC, Smooth Operations, Topic Records and Soundtree.
His road in the visual arts started when he took up photography as a child. What started with a fascination of how sometimes if you look at an object from an unusual angle it changes into a whole new world led him to train as a fine art painter and print maker at the Falmouth School of Art and Design in the late 80s through to the early 90s. Over the last 10 years he has worked commercially in the visual arts, predominantly in the mediums of graphic design, architectural design and photography.
