We are a small label based in the Welsh Marches. Our manifesto is to put quality of content above fashion driven media expectation. Brightfield looks at work that is actually trying to say something, rather than just "LOOK AT ME". Much in todays music is obsessed with the concept of career, which in real money often means cramming square pegs into round holes. Our remit is to release work that we feel is looking to break the box rather than fit in it.

Initially set up to release the work of Charlie Beresford we have now added Rural Urbal to the roster. The duo behind the name take home made instruments and samples from the natural enviroment and make twisted unusual soundscapes. To them the whole world is an instrument. More info will be posted over the next couple of months as they are hard at work doing what they do.
